A renewed call for military aid
Australia has stood side-by-side with Ukraine during Russia’s full-scale, illegal and immoral invasion.
Our community knows that Australia’s generous contributions to Ukraine’s defence have played a vital role in ensuring Russia does not achieve its goal of subjugating Ukraine and Ukrainians. Despite global support, Russia’s barbaric attacks continue to kill thousands of innocent Ukrainians.
At least 19,000 children (and most likely hundreds of thousands more) have been forcibly kidnapped and taken to Russia.
Millions of men, women and children remain internally displaced in the country.
Over 125,000 war crimes committed by Russian troops are being investigated.
This is the barbarity and desperation we have come to expect from Russia. We know this is designed to strike fear into Ukrainians and scare our supporters into believing they are stronger than they are.
But Ukraine will never give up.
Now more than ever Ukraine needs the right tools to defend itself against Russian invaders and Putin’s aggression. With a commitment to increased military aid from Australia and the backing of our partners across the world Ukraine can achieve the ultimate goal of peace.

Australia has been an important supporter of Ukraine, but we believe the Australian Government should do more.
We have provided a draft letter for you to send to your local Member of Parliament.
This will make sure your voice continues to be heard in the halls of power. You can remind our leaders we will not let them forget about Ukraine.
